A Sweet Obsession

I believe with all my heart that , if you listen, a house will tell you just what it needs . . .
So take time with your home, pay attention . . . Nature does not hurry , yet everything is accomplished.

A designer is a dreamer. He/She thinks about the space as a "living space", one that will forever be evolving.

It is a "Sweet Obsession" . . .

Can anyone tell me who's rooms we are enjoying today?

  3. I have no ideas whose rooms those are but I would love to know. I think it's interesting what you said about listening to your house because after years of fussing and messing and changing things, my house feels very "happy and homey" right now, more than it ever has. I believe I have found my look.

  4. I love the rich green and pink in the 1st one. But the second one with all that amazing wood really steals the show.

  7. I absolutely believe your house will tell you what it wants to look like. My houses always talk to me, that is why it isn't wise for me to make too many major decisions, such as color, flooring and drapes until I actually live in a place for a while. I need time to listen...it is true. "A designer is a dreamer", also true! I have never designed anything other than my own homes, but I have always dreamt about it non-stop. Drives my poor hubby crazy. He, after 19 years, is resigned to it, though. Smiles and hugs, Cindy S. PS I didn't mean to ignore the fabulous rooms you posted, they are truly gorgeous, but I have no idea who they belong to. I will come back and see what you say about that.

  9. Beautiful rooms!

We've been listening to our home and our hearts. Several changes happening, here and there. I was busy listening to something else, when we built the house, 6 years ago!!
