Rooms that Haunt

Do you ever come across a room that haunts you... you innocently walk past your own dining room and catch a glimpse of it lingering.
You go to bed, not a care of worry in the world and you hear it calling your name.

These are just a few of my many hauntings . I see them and their sisters in my dreams ... I find myself searching high and low for them and making deals with the devil ... What kind of rooms are haunting you late at night?

  3. The only time I feel haunted is if something seems vaguely out of place. It will worry me until I figure out what it is that is bothering me and correct it.

  16. Page 84 in the book Charles Faudree Interiors...love that room! :-)
I am most "haunted" when I see an item somewhere...like in someone's home or a magazine that I really want, but it's no longer being made or I can't find it...that haunts me more than a room.

  17. Oh Vicky you should see my inspiration file. I am a waiter I will wait forever to get what I want.My entry is a classic example I have wanted that floor and wainscotting for over 25 yrs before I got it.some of my design plans have not changed and I just wait until they can happen.I will have to admit I have had to let a few of them go but I am always dreaming. Right now it is my living room re-do that can't happen for awhile.I want a room with just chairs and a great wall full of bookcases.I can see it in my head but my money tree died and the new tree hasn't grown at all so It will be in my brain for awhile. This is fun! Great post.

  18. I've always loved that photo (second last) with the pictures practically papering the walls. And good pictures at that. Probably not child or pet friendly, however!
