Spring in My Garden

For those of you that have not heard, my computer somehow lost all my blogging pictures ! I just don't have the heart to start over . . . so I am going to sign off for awhile. I want to thank all my faithful followers, I have enjoying getting to know you so much. Blogging was something that I never thought I would ever do, but to my surprise , I found that I liked it very much.
I am in the process of doing some updating in my house, the stone wall in the foyer, a few things in the master bedroom and the family room. I am sure I will want to share these projects when I am done, so I will be around from time to time. I will also want to show up dated photos of my little tater bug . . . so bear with me. I have started a new file, and when I get enough images to continue, I may post again from time to time.
Again, thanks everyone. Vicky

  19. *** iT DID IT again!!!! The computer "CUT ME OFF" after allll that typing--- just like that! (Maybe my letter was toooo lonnnnng??? Oh, sugar crumbs!)~~~

I CAN'T write all that AGAIN, explaining everything ALLLLL over AGAIN (for the third time!), so please just know I am STILL recovering (had a relaps causing several adjusments to my/our life~... it's just going to take ALOT longer to recover from my accident & surgery than we thought! Again, crappola!!!...

PLEASE KNOW THAT I, & everyone else who adores you AND YOUR BLOG, that you are appreciated, admired & respected... (& you already KNOW I personally ADORE you!)~

MAYBE you can look at this disconcerting "siuation" as "TIME for VICKY" ~~~ regroup, have fun, do the projects that you enjoy AND where you'll quickly be able to enjoy the results... go out for lunch with old friends, enjoy Tater Tot's baby-days more, cook less and eat out more with hubby... drink champagne with strawberries for breakfast one Sunday, etc... YOU'VE EARNED IT!!!

Thennnnnnn, come back all refreshed & renewed~~~you deserve THAT, too!

    Much love,
    Linda (in AZ*)

  21. I am going to miss my Vicky fix!!!!!!
However, it's all about living. So go and enjoy your garden (I would if I had a spread like yours!) And dote on your little man; I would! We all know how fast those years go. I hope if you'll stop in and say hello to me every now and then, and let me know how it's all going. warmly, -susan (p.s. i, too, thought i had lost some photos. i didn't find them until my daughter loaded everything onto an external hard drive. she advised that i do that to protect my files. anyway, lo-and-behold, i found what i had spent some time looking for....So, perhaps yours is there -- somewhere.)

Put your pics on a flash drive ASAP. This will save you the misery if you lose anything on your computer. I have all my jewelry photos on both discs and a flash drive. It's so easy.

  34. Oh no!!! Grrr! Computer problems can suck the fun out of everything, can't they?
I'll leave you on my sidebar and keep an eye out for anything new from you. In the meantime, enjoy your life "computer free". I've been tempted to ditch it all myself a time or two, but I have to sit here to work every day anyway so I might as well blog a little while I'm at it. Enjoy your family and your projects!

  38. Hi: I just happened on your blog today and saw your comment re. losing all your pictures. Well, the very same thing happened to me last June! I lost ALL my pictures, and of course, Blogger has no help whatsoever. I switched to Typepad, even got the most expensive plan, found someone to help me redesign it, and couldn't be happier! Typepad offers lots of support, so this would NEVER happen there. I also recommend getting your own domain!
    Good luck....
