I don't know about where you live, but around here the Hydrangeas have been amazing this year . . .
I have had lots to cut and enjoy in my home for at least a month and lovin every minute of it.
But they are fading now and soon will be gone. I will miss them . . .
I have some I drid from a friends house. I LOVE THE FRESH ONES. Kathy

I love hydrangeas too. What a great looking dining room you have, I have always admired that style of chair.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have seen a photo of your dog. I love dogs, they just don't fit into our lifestyle. That's why we enjoy the next door dog, Baxter, so much.
Your little Millie is just adorable! If we had a dog, I would want one like her, so good and SO cute! I find that when I am with someone who has a dog, people often stop to talk, different than if you are walking alone.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of adorable, though, I haven't seen a photo of your little grand son for a while now. He must be growing so fast, they are not infants nearly long enough, so far as I'm concerned. My youngest grand is now 3 1/2.

Oh my gosh I never noticed it before but YOU our Ms. Vicky who doesn't like a specific color (shan't mention that particular color) has BLLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUE CHAIRS!!!! (hint, hint). I am not going to let you live this one down. :)
ReplyDeleteLike so many others, I too love your table and I imagine the hydrangeas were a beautiful sight when all were in full bloom in your garden. As we got little Snow this past Winter and Spring Showers were few and far between, our gardens are just starting to mature.

My daughter bought a house last year and this year we see a vivid blue hydrangeas blooming. Such a nice surprise.

Late spring, the native Oakleaf hydrangeas bloom in my garden.
ReplyDeleteThen the H. Anna Belle's, then the French mopheads like yours on the dining room table, then the Pee Gee hydrangeas bloom.
Finally late summer to frost the Hydrangea 'Tardiva' bloom.

ReplyDeleteThe biggest change we've made recently is the addition of seagrass rugs in the living room and bedroom plus a few new accessories and 1 new table made from an old door plank for the bedroom. Everything about the decorating process makes me happy. I think that's supposed to be what it's all about. we don't do it for anyone else, we do it for ourselves, right?
