They were fabulous in Atlanta this year, too. Yours are so pretty. Do you have any roses to look forward to? Your dining room is beautiful. Have a great weekend.
Love hydrangeas and yours are glorious!! I have 3 blue ones in my window box mixed with ferns, it looks so fresh and cooling in my backyard. Love them. Thanks for coming by today, I can't wait to see or at least hear what you are going to be working on in your bathroom, please do share!1 Have a wonderful 4th of July!! Hugs Kathysue
I love hydrangeas too. What a great looking dining room you have, I have always admired that style of chair. I don't think I have seen a photo of your dog. I love dogs, they just don't fit into our lifestyle. That's why we enjoy the next door dog, Baxter, so much.
Your little Millie is just adorable! If we had a dog, I would want one like her, so good and SO cute! I find that when I am with someone who has a dog, people often stop to talk, different than if you are walking alone. Speaking of adorable, though, I haven't seen a photo of your little grand son for a while now. He must be growing so fast, they are not infants nearly long enough, so far as I'm concerned. My youngest grand is now 3 1/2. Hugs, Cindy S
Oh my gosh I never noticed it before but YOU our Ms. Vicky who doesn't like a specific color (shan't mention that particular color) has BLLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUE CHAIRS!!!! (hint, hint). I am not going to let you live this one down. :)
Like so many others, I too love your table and I imagine the hydrangeas were a beautiful sight when all were in full bloom in your garden. As we got little Snow this past Winter and Spring Showers were few and far between, our gardens are just starting to mature. -Brenda-
Brenda, I am laughing!!!! You let it pass that I got that blue chest for my family room the other day... lol I was begining to think you don't even really look at my post. But truthfully, a touch of blue I can even enjoy, just not a blue room, well, unless it's filled with lots of patina and french charm...lol
Ohhhhhh I look at your postS and ..... even read them. Honestly I do.
I didn't mention the chest, as I was having a 'be kind to Vicky day'. Ha!
Back to this post; I really really do love your BLUE-green chairs and particularly your camera that does funny things to color. HAVE A GREAT EVENING! Smiles 'n Hugs... -Brenda-
Lucky you to have hydrangeas in your garden!! I love the drapery changes you made in your bedroom and the gorgeous chest in your family room!
The biggest change we've made recently is the addition of seagrass rugs in the living room and bedroom plus a few new accessories and 1 new table made from an old door plank for the bedroom. Everything about the decorating process makes me happy. I think that's supposed to be what it's all about. we don't do it for anyone else, we do it for ourselves, right?
Vicky, our hydrangeas are just started blooming! Here in Belgium it was a cold winter, and I think that is why they bloom so late this summer. Happy Sunday! xx Greet
Mine are still pretty revved up. I dumped all my nasty ones from arrangements around the house today and made new ones. I need to learn how to dry them better though. Gonna have to give cityfarmer (my mom) a hard time about her typos!
hello, yes, my hydrangeas are blooming as well. I have a question and hope some one can help me with the answer. How do you dry them so they keep some color??? Please help asap as I need/want to have some in my vases. Thanks so much! If you will either stop by my blog and leave the answer or email me at nygirl47@aol.com. Again, thanks!
I have some I drid from a friends house. I LOVE THE FRESH ONES. Kathy

Late spring, the native Oakleaf hydrangeas bloom in my garden.
ReplyDeleteThen the H. Anna Belle's, then the French mopheads like yours on the dining room table, then the Pee Gee hydrangeas bloom.
Finally late summer to frost the Hydrangea 'Tardiva' bloom.
Greedy for hydrangeas !!!
