Get to know Mr. Marty

California designer Dan Marty is one to study. His showrooms lack natural light and yet the dark and moody spaces are WONDERFUL !!
Dan's worldwide travels are reflected in the numerous antique finds and vintage textiles he uses in his spaces.

His showrooms also feature collections by Kathryn Ireland, Martyn Lawrence-Bullard and Farrow & Ball.


Pure talent and unerring eye is evident when he mixes his vignettes. I want to live in them....how about you?

    You know, I like his style except for the animal heads on the walls. I think his rooms are warm ad I like all the brown wood...Christine

    I enjoyed this post today. Mr. Marty's designs are warm and homey. I agree with Christine I am not fond of the animals on the walls either. I could see myself in that bottom room. ~ Robyn
