I got a e-mail from a friend today asking when I was going to do a post on my garden... I reminded her that this is a design blog and she reminded me it was " MY " blog and I could do whatever I wanted too.
I then said that everyone had already seen my pictures and it is too early for new ones... she reminded me that I had new blogging friends and they had not seen my garden.
So we will call this how to decorate your yard... I would start with the outer edges and work my way in.
Always have a focal and a few dogs at all times... this is the entry to the back yard. That my little "Cliffie" he was a hand me down...
I always end my post with a question... would you like more garden post on the design blog?
Absolutely! It's your blog and you can do what you want to, do what you want to.....Robyn
ReplyDeleteI love garden posts and design posts. I think it takes both to have a really comfortable and inviting home. I love the pics of your yard, they are just glorious. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteVicky, I love looking at any pictures of your home & garden that you'd like to share!!! I'm on clean up & plant mission, so garden posts are certainly appreciated right now!
ReplyDeleteI spent a delightful couple of hours wandering in Lowe's garden department yesterday. I wanted it all & had to narrow it down to a small & very manageable number of plants to start. I was so jazzed! ☺
Hon you can blog about anything you want to. I did a post one day on the wobbley wheels at Walmart. It is not like Rate My space. You have your own blog to post on , elephants, dogs ,jelly beans, cars, crazy neighbors. Any thing your heart wants to write about. Kathy
ReplyDeleteOf course! Especially if it is as beautiful as this...Christine
ReplyDeleteI would love more garden design photos. Your pictures are lovely-thank you.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
Carolyn
Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comments. I really appreciate it. The pie really is very easy to make. If you're doing the first one, just buy the pie crust that comes in rolls and then roll it out in the pan, smooth it out carefully, prick all the sides and bottom with a fork and then bake at 425 until brown. Cook the chocolate filling and then pour in the baked pie shell. Cover the filling with a piece of wax paper and cool slightly then put in the fridge to really cool. When it comes time to serve, just spread some cool whip on top and listen for all the raves. Really easy and everyone will love it. Good luck, a pie is always good. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThanks guys and Marty, I think I will give it a try. thanks

ReplyDeleteBTW...I'll have champagne for two, a chicken and swiss cheese panini ... for dessert, dark chocolate macaroons and some more champagne. I'll slip your tip under the door.
Of course. And more about cliffe, too.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Brenda! I tried to visit your blog, but was unable to get there... And Linda, it is always fun when you come visit... Thanks to all you guys.
ReplyDeleteWhen pigs fly, Little Cliffie came from a bad home!!! We already had a little shih tuz that we adored and a friend told me about him. I told her if she could get him I would find him a good home, she got him and he ended up with my father in law who loved him more than life itself! The two of them lived happily together until his death and we then took Cliffie in. He was heart broken and did not eat for 4 days...but now he is just one of my pack and sleeps with me every night...thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh so sweet about little Clffie....poor little feller, but now he has a new Mama!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info on cow poop! Will have to go find me some!
Love your garden!!! Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Cathy

Like I've said before, I don't make Russell sit down and look at RMS or the blogs very often but...I sure had him come and see your fabulous yard!!! Girl, you have a picture/postcard perfect place...the kind of place that many of us just dream about!!! Ohhh yes, and that photo of your quaint little vine covered backyard entrance...simply divine!!! It looks like it belongs in Cottage Living or one of those magazines...it's soooo beautiful!!! Okay, never mind me...if I just park my chair at your backyard entrance and enjoy this area for awhile! Hehe!!!
