Thanks for coming by, Vicky. Sorry, I don't know Twizzi's bday. I might have it in my calendar in my home desktop computer (if I knew it before) but I am in FL. right now. I will look when I get home on Friday...Christine
I like to mix things up, I am in love with the look of the kitchen in your first picture. The rough with the elegant. I would love to do that in my home. But, I LOVE too many different looks to really settle on one. Oh my, what is the matter with me!! Thank you for your comment, I am only into my second month of doing this and I am slowly improving, I think. Thank you for your comment, I am a very shy person, so blogging is getting me way out of my comfort zone. But that is partly why I am doing it. Also, I am alone alot, and I need the diversion. Hugs, ~cindy s~
Hi Vicky, So true...the ying and the yang....mix of textures, contrast...your choice of pictures describes it well and the first one is oh so my style! Thanks... Take care, Laura
* Vicky-girl, I'm lovin' #s1 and #3!!! Left a msg saying so last night & THOUGHT it got deleted... came back today & discovered it DID! (Oh "GREAT"... NOW I'm getting "feeeeeble old hands"???? Yikes!!!)...
Love that first kitchen... I even like the chandelier! (I'm not really a 'sparkle' person) And, yes I like to mix vintage with new... heavy on the vintage :)
In respect to 'MIX'; fabrics and their patterns 'n textures are top on my list. Oh how I do love textiles! Take an old tired sofa, chair, bed etc. and dress them in a new ensemble......can be decorating bliss.
Beautiful examples of styles, surfaces, and arrangements that you've shown us here. Thanks Vicky! -Brenda-
Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteI like to mix it up too.
Oooo you're so right. I love the chandelier/farm table combo in the first one.
