The Mix

I love the unexpected, fine things with not so fine things, rough with smooth, texture with gloss.
Clean lines, fewer things, better things . . .

Perfection is in the mix. Do you need to mix things up a bit in your castle?

  7. I like to mix things up, I am in love with the look of the kitchen in your first picture. The rough with the elegant. I would love to do that in my home. But, I LOVE too many different looks to really settle on one. Oh my, what is the matter with me!! Thank you for your comment, I am only into my second month of doing this and I am slowly improving, I think. Thank you for your comment, I am a very shy person, so blogging is getting me way out of my comfort zone. But that is partly why I am doing it. Also, I am alone alot, and I need the diversion. 15. In respect to 'MIX'; fabrics and their patterns 'n textures are top on my list.
Oh how I do love textiles! Take an old tired sofa, chair, bed etc. and dress them in a new ensemble......can be decorating bliss.

Beautiful examples of styles, surfaces, and arrangements that you've shown us here. Thanks Vicky!
