Vicky, I laughed out loud at the final picture "don't forget to breathe" because it just took my breath away. Happy Mother's day! I hope yours is beautiful! Carol
absolutely so pretty, when all our girls move out im stealing a room and it will be so pretty and femine, thats okay because it will be mine, all mine...lol happy mothers day hugs janet
* V~ Is there a way to contact Lauren? I wanted to ask if the red side table was the one from Pier 1, "scrubbed" to look old? I had seen that & thought about that piece, and DOING just that very thing, for a friend's daughter... Can you find out??? And, I loved her white chair~~~ so darling!!!
Beautiful rooms! Is that a down comforter folded at the bottom of that first bed? I can't quite tell. It almost looks like an enormous pillow. Or maybe a comforter rolled and inside a long pillow cover type "thing"?
I don't know if you will agree with me, but something that I have been noticing more and more is the use of coverlets and bedspreads in quilted designs.
Hi Vicky, i finally posted pictures of my not so great sofa for Linda/Mom, if you would like to let her know she will find it on my blog. thank you g/f hugs janet
Vicky, thank you so much for your kind sweet comments on our living room, i guess because im the decorator...lol it just never seems to be good enough. I do find it a calm room, at least in the sense of decor, and as you can see im pretty simple in my decor, which i call easy living or me just being lazy, my less stuff, less cleaning theory. Our living room is the heart of our home and the main gathering spot for all of us and our company. We watch tv in here, take naps, kids doing homework and when hubby isnt home the girls and i eat supper in here while watching tv, i know BAD ME...lol I have one goal left for this room and that is too create a gallery wall and add a band to my curtains that look like they are expecting a flood, lol. My kids and hubby think im crazy when i tell them that the curtains have shrunk just hanging on the window. I will stop my chatting now that i have wrote you a book on this living room. hugs janet
Vicky, Thank you for posting pictures of my home on your blog. What a nice surprise! Joni told me about it. I noticed that someone had a question about the pink chest. It is a French antique and the rasberry color is original to the piece. It kind of looks red in the picture but it is actually pink in person. Another one of your readers asked about my bed. That is a duvet with a fluffy insert folded across the bottom of the bed. It was kind of messed up and wrinkled in the picture. I didn't have a chance to style it before they snapped the picture! All the best to you and your cute blog, Lauren
