So true! But, even so... I always liked going to my room...I guess it was my refuge growing up in a big and noisy household. Who wouldn't like to have to stay in the beautiful and cozy rooms you have showed here? Send me to one of these rooms with a good book...or not..I'll take a nap! :) Laura
This reminds me of when my son was about 3 years old..... I sent him to his room for a timeout and when he came out he was dressed in a suit and tie ! Beautiful pics.....
*V~ Of COURSE "yours truly" W*O*U*L*D choose the last one because of the precious dog (he/she IS real, jah? If not, THAT's OK too, tho!)~~~
I sooooo SMILED @ the cuteness of what TAMMY @ IN STITCHES wrote~~~ that's just PRICELESS!!! ~~~~And BECAUSE it is, I can just PICTURE the day (a lonnnng way off Tammy... don't worry yet, OK?!) when he gets married, & a fun reference to THAT DARLING INCIDENT being made at the biggest, most wonderful day of his life!!!
Our "Belle" is only 60 or so lbs. (depending on whether or not it's "huntin' season"!), and she EEEEASILY takes up more than HER share of our (king-sized) bed... I'm so crazy about her, tho, that I don't even mind!!! (Now JIM, on the other hand....)~~~ (Smiles!)~~~

All of your images are gorgeous! I could live in any of them, only with larger beds! Yes, thankfully bedrooms are now the beautiful, restful retreats that they deserve to be. Hugs, Cindy S.
As a child I spent many an hour sitting on a chair in a corner (I know you find that impossible to believe) as there were five girls who shared the same b/room. It was just like a Dorm and was normally occupied by at least one of us, so being sent to your room was no punishment. :)
I know what you mean, Vicky. You punish a kid to go to their room and when they do, they watch TV, play videos and surf the web, lol. That's the kind of punishment I like. Happy New Year!...Christine
