Get to know Mr. Redd

"Miles Redd," it's wild, it's funky, but I kinda dig it . . . How about you?

  1. I admit most of his stuff is way too much for me, but he is a creative genius just the same. If you have not looked at his website, have some fun and check it out.

  2. Too much going on, for me. I prefer simplicity, I guess.

  3. He's great at mixing styles, scale, color & creating flow in dynamic spaces.

Not all of his rooms are for me but each inspires ideas.

    Pure magic.

  5. His work is really growing on me..I love the effect lacquered walls have ... the tiny green kitchen he did ... i think in Elle Decor...LOVE that..and the blue lacquer walls in a recent publication that were done in an entryway..stunning! He's like...funky traditional with a hip mix o'modern!

    Happy New Year!

  6. LOVE Miles Redd... especially the small rooms filled with color and pattern. His own apartment here in L.A. (published in HB I think) was one of my favorites of last year.

  18. I feel his use of pattern, textures and color reflect his training as a Fashion Design student and the 'funky traditional' appeal of his Interior Design work echoes 'Preppie'.

Do I actually care for his work, count me as undecided.

  21. He is very dramatic, isn't he. I like his use of color, placement of art on the walls and the chairs that he uses. I like his style. Hugs, Cindy S.
