Mostly, a white soothing dream, but just a touch of green.
Green as a focal . . .
and again . . .
This one just makes me want to trash my own bedroom and start over! I love this room so much, there is only one thing to change, IMHO; I would love to see wood floors in here. So tell me Ms. Brenda, are you feeling any better?
Nice ideas. The first one reminds me of my very own bedroom, white bedding and white linen curtains, however my walls are a beautiful shade of green called 'Rye' (Sherwin Williams)and my woodwork is a creamy warm white. You might think that 'Rye' looks a little dark if you look at it (only) on the color chip, but once you get it on the walls you realize that there is a lot of yellow in it and it actually makes my room cozy and bright. I need that warmth here in the middle of NY state snow country. Tami E.
ReplyDeleteI love the softer greens. I really like the green used in that first kitchen picture.
ReplyDeleteLove that first kitchen!
ReplyDeleteLove green! And these make me green with envy! (cheesy, I know but couldn't resist.) Have a nice weekend, -s
ReplyDeleteI love mostly the soft apple greens like I have in my kitchen. It is so fresh especially with white trim. I don't like mint green. Remember when hunter green was all the rage with burgundy?

ReplyDeleteVERY inspirational Vicky!
ReplyDeleteParticularly love the Bedroom (...Linda). So crisp yet soothing. Yep, I think it is safe to say, I am feeling so much better....about green. There is also much to be said about 'the power of persuasion'. :)
Thank you so much again. Many hugs -Brenda-
Vicky,

You're speaking my language. These are wonderful. Love that kitchen. It's a little too formal for my home but the elements in it are beautiful. I'd love to eat a meal that was prepared in there!
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean I didn't like hunter green, I hope I didn't insult you. I can remember when I lived in Iowa I had an accent wall done in hunter green with a green and cream checked sofa. Oooh I miss that sofa!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
LeAnn:)

My design itchies just got scratched ...I have a puuk-ie moss green side table ...all chippie ...in my sitting room ... it's oval, with carved legs and a gracious finial across the stretcher ....I ADORE it and its color.
