  3. It does give the feeling of being in the woods at night {which I wouldn't like}. It does have depth to it, though.

  6. WOW,....you really find some good ones! It looks like the gal on the sofa is being pulled into the woods! Don't care too much for the lavender accents...

  7. I like it! Fanciful and magical. A fantastic focal point to walk in on but you don't face it directly while seated (even in the side chairs) so it won't overwhelm you while you're in the room. Great look for a library that you don't use every minute of every day.

  8. It certainly makes a statement, but I'm afraid I wouldn't want to turn my back on it for fear of being grabbed and sucked into some kind of parallel universe. But then, I don't walk outside at night either. Not my cup of warm and cozy.

I totally understand about the award. It was a lot of work for me.

  11. hmm, please tell me this is some wonderful waiting room in a public place and not someone's private living room. I should feel that they got seriously hoodwinked by an overzealous designer. But as a waiting room, kinda fun. Imagine this in your local hospital? Would that be better than the usual white walls?

  12. I think I'd feel a little anxious with that behind me!

  20. My turn, when I frist came across this image, I thought wow, this is interesting! I do like everything but the walls, but the wall is what makes it so interesting... I was torn, do I like it? Do I not like it? Then Joan k hit it on the head for me...It would be according to how the room was used! duh...I would not like it in a home, Too Much! But I would love it in a waiting room somewhere. So Joan K wins this time! Not really, No winners ever on Something to Talk About. Taste is Personal!

  21. * I think it's an interesting CONCEPT, but the choice of colors leaves me literally CHILLED to the bone and, well, it kind of gives ME a "creeeeeeepy feeling" to boot!~ Nice furniture, tho!!!

    Hugs,
    Linda

  22. Fantastical.

Wouldn't do it in a kitchen or a bedroom, but perhaps in a sitting room or a study.

  23. yeah, definately not my cup of tea...

  24. I must agree with Linda (Mom). I do like the furniture but not particularly fond of the mural. The forest seen in the Blair Witch horror movie comes to mind! SMILES
